Terms of service

These terms cover the PluckTable Chrome extension and this website. PluckTable is run by Lester Bursley, California, USA ("we"). By installing or using PluckTable you agree to these terms.

1. What PluckTable is

PluckTable is a browser tool that copies a table or list from the web page you are viewing into a file, such as CSV, Excel or JSON, or onto your clipboard. It runs in your own browser, on pages you have opened yourself, and copies what is already displayed to you. We don't operate servers that visit websites or store their content.

2. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use PluckTable and for the data you export. You agree to:

• Follow the terms of service, robots rules and any usage limits of the websites you use it on, and the laws that apply to you, including copyright, database and data-protection laws.
• Use it only on pages you are allowed to view.

You agree not to use PluckTable to:

• Get around logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, rate limits or other access controls. PluckTable is designed not to do this, and it stops when it meets a CAPTCHA or block page.
• Collect personal information, such as email addresses or phone numbers, for spam, unsolicited marketing, profiling or resale.
• Copy and republish content in a way that infringes someone else's rights.
• Overload or disrupt any website.

We may turn off a license that is used to break these rules.

3. Free and Pro plans

The free plan is free to use. Pro is a paid license, sold monthly, yearly or once for life. Purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record and reseller. Polar's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in the Polar customer portal. Refunds follow our refund policy. "Lifetime" means for as long as we offer PluckTable for Chrome.

A license is for your own use. You may use it on your own devices, but please don't share or resell your key.

4. Changes and availability

We may update PluckTable, change features, or change prices for new purchases. Websites change their layouts often, so we can't promise that PluckTable will work on any particular site at any time.

5. No warranty

PluckTable is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including that exported data will be complete or accurate. Check important data before you rely on it.

6. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how you use exported data. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

7. Ownership

We own the PluckTable software and name. Data you export belongs to you or to its original owners; we make no claim to it.

8. Ending

You can stop using PluckTable at any time by removing it. If you break these terms, we may end your license.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Continuing to use PluckTable after a change means you accept it.
