PluckTablePrivacy policy

The short version: PluckTable doesn't collect your browsing data or the data you export. Everything it reads from a page stays in your browser. The only thing that ever leaves your computer is a Pro license key, sent to our payment provider to check that it's valid.
What the extension reads
- It reads a page only when you click the PluckTable icon (or press its shortcut), and only the tab you clicked it on. This uses Chrome's "active tab" permission.
- If you use Pro's auto-scroll or "Next page" features, it keeps reading the same tab while you watch, and stops when you close the panel.
- What it reads is used only to build the preview and the file you export. It is never uploaded, logged or shared.
What is stored on your computer
In Chrome's storage for the extension, on your device only:
- Saved recipes: which list you picked on a site and your column names and order. You can delete any recipe with "Forget".
- Your Pro license key and the date it was last checked, if you entered one. "Remove key from this browser" deletes it.
- A short-lived note while a multi-page export is running, so it can continue after the page reloads. It's cleared when the browser closes.
Exported files are saved where you choose, like any other download. We never see them.
What is sent over the internet
Only for Pro users, and only this: when you enter a license key, and about once a day after that, the extension sends the key, our store ID and a fixed device label ("PluckTable for Chrome") to Polar (polar.sh), which sells PluckTable on our behalf. Polar replies whether the key is valid. Like any web request, this also shows Polar your IP address. No page content, URLs or browsing history are included.
The free plan makes no network requests of its own.
When you buy Pro
Checkout happens on Polar's site. Polar is the merchant of record: it collects your email address, payment details and billing country to take payment, handle tax and send your receipt and key. Polar's handling of that data is covered by Polar's privacy policy. We can see your email address, what you bought, and your country in our Polar dashboard. We use your email only to deal with your purchase, refunds or questions you send us. We never sell it or use it for marketing without asking.
What we don't do
- No analytics, tracking pixels, ads or third-party scripts in the extension.
- No accounts and no cloud servers of our own.
- We don't sell, rent or share data with anyone.
This website has no cookies or analytics either. Our host (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs.
Chrome Web Store limited use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can delete everything PluckTable stores by removing the extension. To get a copy of, or delete, your purchase records, email hello@plucktable.com and we'll ask Polar to do the same.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. If a change ever means sending more data, the extension will ask you first.
